Service-Learning Abroad for Faculty

Service-Learning (SL) Abroad offers faculty and students the opportunity to study the challenges faced by communities beyond the borders of Delaware—whether elsewhere in the United States or the world. A course-based service project provides students with the means for integrating their academic experience with real-world conditions through guided reflection. Faculty guidelines for developing a Service-Learning Abroad program are available on the Center for International Studies website.

Service-Learning Abroad Forum

The Office of Service-Learning and the Center for International Studies, with support from the Alumni Association sponsors an annual forum for returning Service-Learning Abroad participants in late February. At the forum, representatives from each service-learning abroad program discuss their experiences working with communities abroad.  You may view previous programs below.
